Solutions You Need, Sources You Can Trust is the theme for the Technology & Maintenance Council's (TMC) 2002 fall meeting, set for October 14-17 at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Charlotte.

The four-day meeting will include technical sessions on newly developed practices in radial tire conditions analysis and guidelines for heavy-duty battery selection and maintenance.

Technical sessions presented by industry maintenance professionals will feature practical hands-on demonstrations. Other sessions will cover the best methods for troubleshooting combination vehicle ride complaints, proper maintenance procedures for fan drives and how to use existing vehicle electronics to enhance operations.

Also on the agenda are data security for wireless terminals, the latest EDI and XML standard developments and how to work with Dept. of Defense shippers.
