Increased protection from elements

New shut-off gladhands designed for double trailers are being offered by Phillips Industries.

The products include two zinc die-cast surface mount gladhands and two bulkhead mount models made with composite material for increased protection against magnesium chloride, road salt, and chemicals.

Phillips' shut-off gladhands are designed to keep debris out of the air system by utilizing integrated shut-off valves or arms. They also include dust flap seals and filter screens.

Each of the new Phillips gladhand products are color-coded for easy identification: blue for service and red for emergency.
