Con-Way Logistics appoints three

Con-Way Logistics, a subsidiary of LTL carrier Con-Way Transportation Services, has named three new executives. Marcello Palazzo has been promoted to director of operations after serving as Con-Way Logistics' controller. Vito Kavaliunas has been hired to replace Palazzo as controller. Randy Mutschler has been named director of customer solutions. Palazzo, a 12-year company veteran, will be in charge
Con-Way Logistics, a subsidiary of LTL carrier Con-Way Transportation Services, has named three new executives.

Marcello Palazzo has been promoted to director of operations after serving as Con-Way Logistics' controller. Vito Kavaliunas has been hired to replace Palazzo as controller. Randy Mutschler has been named director of customer solutions.

Palazzo, a 12-year company veteran, will be in charge the company's U.S. logistics center network. As controller, Kavaliunas will be responsible for all of Con-Way Logistics' financial reporting, forecasting and analysis. Mutschler, who joined Con-Way Logistics as director of operations in 1998, will be responsible for the sales initiatives and revenue targets at the company.
