    Morrow named president of Detroit Diesel

    James "Jim" Morrow has been promoted to president of engine maker Detroit Diesel Corporation. Morrow has been with the company since 1967 and has held numerous positions. Recently, he served as president of Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing Corp., a subsidiary of Detroit Diesel. Under Morrow's guidance, operating profit improved for this business unit by a factor of five and return on assets tripled,
