First Fleet recalibrates executive suite

Michael C. Lewis has been named president & gm of First Fleet Corp., a subsidiary of PHH Arval that in turn is controlled by PHH Corp. Lewis has also been named senior vp of truck strategy at PHH Arval.

In his dual roles, Lewis is responsible for heading up a PHH Arval truck strategy that is comprehensive and integrated, said the firm.

John J. Flynn, founder and former president & CEO of First Fleet, recently left the company after a contractual two-year transition period following PHH Arval’s acquisition of First Fleet ended.

Jeff Smith, senior vp at PHH Arval, has taken on the newly created position of senior vp of North American truck sales. He will be responsible for creating a unified strategy for all of PHH Arval’s truck and equipment sales channels.
