Third party logistics firm Stonier Transportation Group has hired Bret Holmes as director of finance and controller. Holmes will be responsible for the budgeting and financial reporting functions of the entire company, the company said.
Holmes is an accounting executive with more than 13 years of public and private accounting, information technology and management experience. Prior to joining Stonier, he was CFO with Advantus Corp., a provider of office products and supplies, and Fire Fighters Equipment Co., which services and installs safety equipment and pre-engineered systems.
