The store is contained within a pair of trucks between stops: A Kenworth T2000 hauling a van trailer and a Kenworth T300 straight truck.

Kenworth said it takes drivers eight hours to set up the store at each location. The store is set up like a real Krispy Kreme store, allowing customers to see the process of doughnuts rising, cooking, and being glazed before being served hot off the line. It can produce up to 100 dozen doughnuts per hour.

The Krispy Kreme mobile store began a nationwide tour in March and will travel to large festivals, fairs and other major events over the coming year.
