People powerDave Ronnenberg, president of CR&R, a Southern California waste-management firm, recently purchased 39 Autocar Xpeditors. He says the decision was difficult, with two “outstanding” manufacturers to choose from. Benn won the award based on his safety record and exemplary work performance. The next Red Ball Express Oshkosh's TerraMax is a self-navigating “robot truck” now in its second generation of design and development. It is intended to eventually see duty in driverless supply convoys, which the U.S. military hopes will be road-worthy by 2015.
