Schneider National Inc. has named Tom Escott president of its Schneider Logistics Inc. subsidiary. Escott had been CEO of GeoLogistics Americas Inc., the American subsidiary of GeoLogistics Corp.
Escott will report directly to Chris Lofgren, president & CEO of Schneider National Inc.
"We selected Tom because his strong record of leadership and vision has produced stellar results throughout his distinguished career in the 3PL industry," Lofgren said.
Previously, Escott founded ShipLogix, a startup software company that provides Web-hosted transportation management solutions, and held the role of president at Caliber Logistics Inc., which is now FedEx Supply Chain Services.
