The Cloudberry TerraTrak+ and DualTrak+ from Air-Trak.com expand wireless capabilities and coverage for the company's original TerraTrak automatic vehicle location (AVL) system.
The TerraTrak system offers real-time vehicle location information using the land-based CingularI Mobitex wireless network and map displays delivered over the Internet to Web browsers.
TerraTrak+ adds 2-way messaging and email service to the system's AVL features. Drivers can transmit messages, signature captures or scanned bar codes using a handheld Pocket PC.
DualTrak+ offers full national coverage with a dual-mode transceiver that can send and receive messages and location information over a satellite system when it is beyond land-based communications coverage. The dual-mode system automatically chooses the lower cost terrestrial system whenever possible.
All three systems are supplied as complete packages that include all hardware, software, maps, cables, mounting hardware, modems and one-month of airtime. They also offer seamless integration with ESRI ArcLogistics route management software for creation, storage, display and monitoring of map-based routes.
