The Truckload Carriers Assn. will be hosting an audio conference that addresses owner-operator litigation against leasing carriers on Aug. 17. Speaker Jim Sullivan, shareholder and director of Shughart Thomson & Kilroy P.C. who chairs the firm’s Transportation Law Group, will discuss how to avoid litigation.
The conference will discuss often-challenged practices, including equipment lease purchase arrangements, charge-backs, escrow/reserve accounts, cargo and property damage claims, insurance and fuel.
