I-95 Northbound in Connecticut is now open— well ahead of schedule. Initial estimates had indicated the highway would remain closed for “twelve to fourteen days.” The Southbound lanes are expected to reopen on Thursday, according to the Associated Press. Southbound lanes remain closed between Exits 24 and 25 in Bridgeport. Commercial vehicles are advised to follow I-95 South to CT Route 8 North (Exit 27A) in Bridgeport to I-84 West (Exit 33) in Waterbury to U.S. Route 7 South (Exit 3) in Danbury to I-95.
