A new partnership between Flemming Cargo Securement (FCS) and OnAsset Intelligence promises to minimize risk throughout the supply chain while proactively intervening when cargo is compromised.

The partnership will utilize OnAsset’s Sentry technology and FCS’s 24/7 monitoring services. Sentry senses temperature, pressure, humidity, light, motion, speed, shock, and vibration of any asset transported via truck, plane, rail or intermodal. It is used regularly to track the location and environmental conditions of cargo.

FCS monitors assets using OnAsset’s tracking technology and can also provide security evaluations, covert shadowing of cargo in high-theft areas, reverse logistics, and multi-phased recovery plans in the event of a theft.

“FCS is an expert at interpreting the Sentry data, and turning it into actionable intelligence,” said Adam Crossno, OnAsset president & CEO. “With more than 20 years of experience in the trucking industry, and a robust database of law enforcement contacts, FCS’ services provide a perfect complement to our asset tracking technology.”

FCS CEO Ray Flemming will be discussing the new partnership and how it helps customers during the M2M Evolution Conference in Austin, TX, on Sept. 13.
