Ryder System, Inc. has acquired Vertex Services, LLC., a provider of outsourced fuel storage tank compliance and fuel systems management services.
Vertex services include Fuel Management (FuelPro), Service Management (ServicePro), and Compliance Management (CompliancePro). FuelPro provides management services to tank owners, fuel buyers, and fuel suppliers. ServicePro provides annual testing, warranty tracking, and service event management. CompliancePro offers a package of compliance management services.
"Ryder is pleased to expand its transportation solutions into fuel storage tank systems compliance," said Ryder Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Gregory T. Swienton. "We see significant growth synergies for this business with our current offerings."
Vertex’s customers include: Costco Wholesale; US Concrete, Inc.; Waste Management, Inc.; and FuelQuest, Inc. in addition to Ryder.
