FMS gets freight brokerage license

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration recently granted a freight brokerage license to Freight Management Services (FMS), a subsidiary of OrderPro Logistics. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration recently granted a freight brokerage license to Freight Management Services (FMS), a subsidiary of OrderPro Logistics.

The company said its brokerage business will complement the company's motor carrier and third party logistics divisions.

OrderPro Logistics said the brokerage license will enable the company to build its brokerage business and complement the activities of its other divisions by providing additional shipping capability for its overall customer base.

The company expects revenues from FMS, after one year of operations, to be in the $3 million range.
