FMCSA toughens rules for new entrants
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has published a list of violations that will result in the automatic failure of a new-entrant safety audit in the Federal Register. According to FMCSA, the rules are essential elements of basic safety management controlsand makes a carrier's failure to comply with any one of the 16 regulations an automatic failure of the safety audit.
