    Great Dane Trailers announced that its quality management system in its Savannah plant has received certification for the new ISO 9001:2000 standard. This certification recognizes the plant manufactures under internationally recognized uniform processes.

    This certification marks the plant’s transition from the ISO 9002:1994 certification that it received in March 2001.

    “Modern trailer manufacturing is a very competitive environment, and the ISO standards provide a structured approach to help promote the continuous improvement process,” said Bruce Long, Savannah plant manager.
