    John W. Magaw resigned last month as Under Secretary of Transportation for Security, DOT announced. James M. Loy will replace Magaw, who had headed the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) since January. Loy, who recently retired from the U.S. Coast Guard, was named Deputy Under Secretary and Chief Operating Officer of TSA.
