The system, according to eScreen, utilizes advanced technology that enables results to be determined in minutes versus the industry standard of 48 to 72 hours, the company states. Real-time automatic results are delivered using MyeScreen.com, eScreen's web-based reporting solution designed to provide users with the capability to instantly access and manage employee test results via the Internet.

The system is designed to protect the integrity of each sample using a tool called eCup. Results are read automatically with eReader, avoiding human interpretation and transcription errors, the company reports, and eCup also protects the confidentiality of the donor by ensuring the final test results are available only to the employer.
