Bankrupt truck body and trailer maker sold

Bankrupt holding company Standard Automotive Corp. is selling off its Truck Body/Trailer division to Traffic Corp. for $13.25 million. Standard Automotive filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March. The deal includes the sale of CPS Trailer Co., R&S Truck Body Company Inc., Ajax East and Ajax West, which are regional manufacturers of vocational truck body and trailer products. Bankrupt holding company Standard Automotive Corp. is selling off its Truck Body/Trailer division to Traffic Corp. for $13.25 million. Standard Automotive filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March.

The deal includes the sale of CPS Trailer Co., R&S Truck Body Company Inc., Ajax East and Ajax West, which are regional manufacturers of vocational truck body and trailer products.

Standard Automotive owns production facilities that manufacture aerospace, nuclear, industrial and defense products throughout North America.
