Today Penske Truck Leasing (PTL) introduced Precision Plus, a fleet management system designed to increase performance and productivity. The product utilizes PTL’s Web-based network.
A combination of proprietary resources allows access to data including vehicle start/stop reports, mile-per-gallon performance reports, vehicle location, accident reconstruction, paperless fuel tax reporting, driver logs and driver communications. This information is updated in real-time so that managers can monitor and manage a more productive fleet, the leasing company said.
“Precision Plus can increase uptime and lower transportation costs by increasing visibility and enabling fleet managers to anticipate problems and make decisions that improve fleet productivity,” said Jim Feenstra, PTL vp of marketing.
Precision Plus is available in three packages— basic, standard and premier.
