NTEA Slates Economic Outlook

The National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) will hold its annual Economic Outlook Conference (EOC) on September 22 at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn (MI).

The full-day conference features data and analyses of truck markets, truck equipment markets and specific end-user markets. Scheduled speakers include Mustafa Mohatarem, chief economist for General Motors Corp.; Ken Simonson, chief economist for The Associated General Contractors of America and a FleetOwner columnist; Eli Lustgarten, analyst for J.B. Hanauer & Co.; Gene Huang, chief economist for FedEx Corp; and Stephen Latin-Kasper, director of market data & research for NTEA.

Attendees will receive a binder including copies of all presentations as well as a CD-ROM containing presentations and supporting materials.

Register before August 30 for early-bird pricing of $175 for NTEA members and $250 for nonmembers. After that date, fees rise to $195 and $300, respectively. NTEA has arranged a special $138 group rate for attendees choosing to stay at the Hyatt Dearborn who reserve there before August 30.
