Hinesley named SkillsUSA president

John Hinesley has been named president of the national board of directors of SkillsUSA, a non-profit corporation committed help member companies attract highly skilled technical graduates

John Hinesley has been named president of the national board of directors of SkillsUSA, a non-profit corporation committed help member companies attract highly skilled technical graduates. Hinesley, has been involved with SkillsUSA since high school, then known as the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America.

Hinesley currently works for ArvinMeritor as its Western Area director of North American Field Operations for Commercial Vehicle Systems.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry that helps students excel by teaching leadership skills that augment their career and technical skills training.

“His hand at the helm of SkillsUSA during the next year will help ensure that the technical needs of companies in our industry—and many others—are met with passion and commitment,” said Dennis Kline, vp—sales, Commercial Vehicle Systems for ArvinMeritor.
