Volvo Group deliveries on the rise

Gothenburg, Sweden-based AB Volvo has announced that April year-to-date deliveries of its Volvo Group truck companies, which includes Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and Renault Truck, in North America topped 23,268 units

Gothenburg, Sweden-based AB Volvo has announced that April year-to-date deliveries of its Volvo Group truck companies, which includes Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and Renault Truck, in North America topped 23,268 units. This marks a 14% increase over the 20,438 delivered in the same period last year.

Volvo Trucks delivered 11,647 units, Mack delivered 11,441 units, and Renault Trucks delivered 180. Compared with the same period last year, this marks an increase of 16%, 11% and 68%, respectively.

Deliveries are not the same as retail sales, as they represent the number of trucks transferred to either dealer inventories or directly to the end user, a Volvo Truck North America spokesperson noted.
