Certification for Cat C15
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently certified Caterpillar's C15 heavy-duty engine as compliant with new emissions standards.
Equipped with the engine maker's ACERT technology, the C15 is available in horsepower ratings of 435-550.
With certification of the C15, Caterpillar now has EPA-compliant '04 engines for both medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
