Shell Hosts Beauty Contest

Shell Oil Co.’s 22nd annual Rotella SuperRigs Truck Beauty Contest will be held on June 24 through 26 at the Bosselman Travel Plaza in Grand Island, NE. Truckers will compete for over $10,000 in cash and prizes, and 12 winning trucks will be selected to appear on the 2005 Rotella SuperRigs calendar. Awards will be given to 18 trucks for categories including best of the show, tractor, tractor/trailer

Shell Oil Co.’s 22nd annual Rotella SuperRigs Truck Beauty Contest will be held on June 24 through 26 at the Bosselman Travel Plaza in Grand Island, NE.

Truckers will compete for over $10,000 in cash and prizes, and 12 winning trucks will be selected to appear on the 2005 Rotella SuperRigs calendar. Awards will be given to 18 trucks for categories including best of the show, tractor, tractor/trailer combination, and classic.

The rigs will be scored based on appearance, design, detail/finish, originality, and workmanship. The contest is free to all participants and contestants do not have to be present to win.

All entrants will be given a gift package that includes one gallon of Rotella T SAE15W 40 multigrade engine oil, one gallon of Rotella ELC Extended Life Coolant/Antifreeze, a tube of Retinax LC grease, a Rotella SuperRigs hat and T-shirt, and a Rotella T mini-maglight.
