Viastar Services Corp., an affiliate company of TransCore Holdings, announced a new relationship with Corporativo Integra de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (Integra-Corporativo), a Mexico City-based provider of fuel, cash management and regulatory compliance services. Combined with Viastar's similar suite of services, the new agreement opens the door to border-to-border fuel-card services in North America, according to Sonya Dukes, senior vp-sales and marketing for Viastar.
The agreement is intended to allow Mexican trucking companies operating in the U. S. to use the Viastar Gold or Viastar Direct fuel and cash management cards to purchase fuel, receive preauthorized cash advances with ViaChek and obtain preauthorized repairs. Viastar will pass all the necessary documentation to Integra to enable the company to invoice its Mexican customers.
For U.S. and Canadian carriers operating in Mexico, Viastar says it will issue TransCore's Amtech radio frequency identification (RFID) transponders for use in fueling at Integra network truck stops located in Mexico.

"Transportation for Tots" is the group's first effort to support a national charitable toy collection. The Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation will distribute those toys to needy children during the 2000 holiday season.
