Subscribers to the international service will be able to instantly talk to other users in any of these coverage areas. The company says more than 90% of its U.S. customers have already enabled nationwide Direct Connect walkie-talkie service.
Nextel U.S. subscribers traveling in these countries can also use their data services, including Blackberry and mobile email, two-way messaging and wireless Internet access, according to the company. www.nextelpartners.com
