Site launched for managers

An online training and information resource for fleet and transportation executives has been launched by efleet Inc. (www.efleetmgmt.com). The subscription-based site features access to online training course, searchable databases, fleet management articles and links to other websites covering trucking and transportation.

Subscribers can draw on benchmarking and standards reports covering compensation, private fleet operations and other financial fleet parameters, according to president Lisa Deyo. It also offers lane and load postings.

Initial online courses in the site's Transportation Management Training Series will include budgeting, activity-based costing, internal security planning and safety program development.
