Inverter maker Xantrex Technology and Delco Remy America have formed a partnership to cooperatively market inverters to the heavy-duty truck aftermarket.

Delco Remy will market Xantrex inverters under a Delco Remy/Xantrex co-brand to aftermarket customers in North America. The line of inverters will range from 150 watts to high-end 1750 continuous-watt units.

The inverters, which operate from the truck's batteries or alternator, convert DC current into AC power to allow drivers to operate appliances in their truck cab sleepers, while safeguarding the truck's starting system through a built-in, low-voltage cut-off.
