The Federal Motor Carrier and Safety Administration’s 82nd annual Research and Technology Forum at Transportation Research Board will be held in Washington, DC on Sunday, January 11, 2004, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The purpose of this year’s "Synergy in Partnerships" Forum is to provide insight on private public partnerships through discussions with government and private sector representatives.
The Federal Motor Carrier and Safety Administration’s 82nd annual Research and Technology Forum at Transportation Research Board will be held in Washington, DC on Sunday, January 11, 2004, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The purpose of this year’s "Synergy in Partnerships" Forum is to provide insight on private public partnerships through discussions with government and private sector representatives. Panel I will feature presentations by FMCSA subject-matter experts on topics such as the Commercial Vehicle Intelligent Systems Network, Electronic On-Board Recorders, Expanding FMCSA Oversight of the Medical Certification Process, the National Commercial Vehicle Roadside Testing Lab, and an update on the crash causation study. Panel II will present firsthand accounts by private sector representatives on how their organizations have worked with FMCSA to develop and promote research and technology designed to achieve mutual commercial motor vehicle safety goals and objectives.
