    The information technology publication Computerworld has named J.B. Hunt Transport Services to its 9th annual list of the 100 Best Places to Work in IT. J.B. Hunt ranked 33rd on the list.

    J.B. Hunt said Computerworld made its selections based on answers to a 75-question online survey of CIOs, vps and hiring executives in Fortune 1000 and major high-tech consulting firms earlier this year. Companies were evaluated based on factors such as diversity, training, career development, benefits, and retention.

    The company’s IT division, which employs about 275 people, is based at J.B. Hunt’s corporate headquarters in Lowell, AR, and helps manage the company’s fleet of 11,000 trucks and 45,000 trailers.
