Cloud-based solution offered

A new work management solution for field workers has been introduced by Trimble. GeoManager WorkManagement provides on-demand visibility into vehicles and mobile workers, including routing, scheduling, and dispatch.

The system allows dispatchers to monitor a worker's progress on the day against a preset plan, allowing them to change appointment times if necessary. WorkManagement includes a work adviser and in-day planner for rapid communication response as well as the ability to re-optimize routes and workload; WorkManagement Mobile that supports a variety of browser-based smartphones, tablets, and ruggedized PDAs; performance manager, which offers real-time analysis of mobile work status; and assistance in managing worker productivity.
