Layover.com recently released an upgrade to its business software for customers and expanded the trucking jobs services on itswebsite.

The Truckers Helper 2002 has a completely redesigned user interface and significantly increased functionality. The software package does everything a small trucking business needs to successfully and effectively run its business, according to software product manager John Ewing.

The program offers versions for drivers, owner-operators and fleets with up to 100 units. Its features include accounting, settlement reconciliation, log checking, mileage tracking and reporting, IFTA reporting, billing, brokering, dispatch, truck and trailer maintenance, driver records, address book, routing, fuel optimization and significant web tools.

Recent software upgrades in Layover's JobNet helps job seekers to locate employment more quickly and efficiently, the company said.

Job seekers are able to search different employment types, fill out an application online, choose the companies their application is sent to, store an application in its database for employers to review for specific job openings, and update and resubmit an application directly to any job listings at any time.
