Traci Campbell, a former member of President George W. Bush's administration, has joined American Trucking Assns. (ATA) as director of strategic initiatives and intergovernmental affairs.

Formerly associate director of intergovernmental affairs at the White House, Campbell will focus on ATA's intergovernmental practice and its relations with the national organizations representing elected state and local officials. She will handle coordinating the planning and development of a "short-term" strategy for achieving intergovernmental policy campaign activities, ATA said.
