    David Aguilar has been appointed Chief of Border Patrol of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency, effective after Border Patrol Chief Gus De La Viña retires on July 1, 2004. Anguilar will be promoted from his current post as Border Patrol Chief for Tucson, AZ.
