@Track Communications Inc. today announced that its subsidiary, Minorplanet Systems USA Limited, has entered into an agreement with GE Capital Fleet Services to market and sell the company’s Vehicle Management Information (VMI) product to commercial customers leasing vehicles from GE Capital Fleet Services. The agreement provides @Track direct access to over 500,000 vehicles that are leased and managed by GE Capital Fleet Services in the U.S.

The VMI technology provides comprehensive and detailed reporting regarding the location of vehicles, the routes they have taken, time spent at each location, the speed and distance traveled, and time worked by service technicians.

Under the agreement, GE Capital Fleet Services will market and promote Minorplanet VMI technology to enhance the effective management of its customers’ fleets. @Track’s established domain expertise and existing nationwide service and installation infrastructure are expected to deliver added value to GE Capital Fleet Services’ customers.
