Schneider Logistics Inc. today announced that Miller Brewing Co. has selected it to design and execute a supply chain management and infrastructure solution.
Miller Brewing's Centralized Load Control Center will use SUMIT, Schneider Logistics' transportation management solution, to provide centralized control, visibility, execution, and management of all Miller transportation activities.
"Miller Brewing will benefit from SUMIT's consistency of execution across the transportation system and breweries, shipment tracking, and business intelligence tools," stated Rodger Mullen, president of Schneider Logistics.
"We selected Schneider Logistics based on the company's depth of expertise in logistics technology, transportation management, and business intelligence," said Bob Fink, director of corporate operations planning and improvement for Miller Brewing.
