Jevic Transportation Inc. is opening its first West Coast facility in Fontana, CA, outside Los Angeles.

In the first phase of operation, the Fontana facility, which will staff local drivers, dispatchers and account managers, will move freight from the Greater Los Angeles region to the Midwest and the Northeast. The second phase will provide delivery service into Texas and the remaining Jevic facilities nationwide.

"Our goal is to provide Jevic customers with service superior to anything they've experienced before," said Paul Karvois, president & CEO. "If a Los Angeles customer ships an order to Chicago on Friday, by Monday the product will have arrived at their customer's dock."
