Paccar 3Q and YTD sales and net income rises

Third quarter net sales and financial services revenues were $2.1 billion, compared to the $2 billion reported for the same period in 2002. Net income was $132.5 million compared to the $128.9 million earned in the third quarter last year.

Net sales and financial services revenues for the first nine months of the year were $6 billion, 13% higher than the $5.3 billion last year. For the first nine months of 2003, Paccar reported net income of $367.4 million, 47% greater than the $249.8 million earned in 2002.
