TCA Hosts Owner-Operator Conference

The Truckload Carriers Assn. is hosting a series of interactive phone conferences starting in June for trucking managers to address regulations involved when working with owner-operators. Two legal experts from Scopelitis, Garvin, Light and Hanson, P.C. will be available to discuss how carriers can avoid owner-operator lawsuits. Each 90-minute audio conference will address a specific issue: June 10—

Two legal experts from Scopelitis, Garvin, Light and Hanson, P.C. will be available to discuss how carriers can avoid owner-operator lawsuits.

Each 90-minute audio conference will address a specific issue:

  • June 10— charge-backs, fuel and compensation

  • Sept. 23— lease-purchasing agreements and escrow funds

  • Nov. 18— insurance and indemnification
