A new release of ESRI's ArcLogistics Route, a desktop routing and scheduling system designed to quickly and easily provide optimal delivery routes and schedules, can now calculate alternative or “second-chance” delivery options as well as handle flexible delivery windows for various customers or shipments.

ArcLogistics Route 3 also allows orders to be prioritized, ensuring that high-priority shipments always get routed even if it becomes impossible to schedule all shipment deliveries on a particular day. U.S. street data has also been updated for the new release with one-way streets, physical turn restrictions, calculated speed information and elevations.
