For Peterbilt's daycab tractors, a larger standard rear window and optional rear corner windows will become available in the fourth quarter this year. The new standard rear window for Peterbilt daycabs increases visibility by 53% over the previous window, Peterbilt noted.

A new four-door crew cab is being offered for Peterbilt's medium duty Model 330 through Ft. Wayne, IN-based Bentz Transport Products. The option is aimed at construction, utility, fire and rescue, wrecker and other vocational customers. The new integrated crew cab can seat five people and measures 52-in. X 84-in. for a 160-in. BBC. The roofline is increased by three inches, creating a 61-in. interior height throughout the entire cab, said Peterbilt.

The company noted that the crew cab conversion uses original Peterbilt parts, such as rear door assemblies, rear corner panels, rear window, interior lighting and grab handles. Additional lighting, auxiliary heating and air conditioning, and bench, air-ride, sleeper-sofa and fire-crew seating are available options, Peterbilt said.
