Petro Stopping Center customers and employees have donated more than $35,000 as part of the NATSO American Red Cross Disaster Relief Effort, which was initiated as a result of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

A check for $35,419.78 was presented to the NATSO Foundation Disaster Relief Fund in support of the American Red Cross. NATSO, an association of truckstop and travel plaza operators, is working with member truckstops to collect money on behalf of the American Red Cross.

"We are so proud of how truck drivers came through in a time of crisis," said Petro CEO & president Jack Cardwell. "The generosity of these hard-working Americans has been second to none."
