A number of features have been added to Navistar's vocational trucks to improve the driver experience in the waste collection field.

Driver productivity is improved with a stair-step entry/exit system for International's DuraStar and WorkStar trucks. Add in the ability to spec both vehicles with stand-up, right-hand drive (SRD) configurations and improved cab ergonomics, and productivity is increased while fatigue decreases, noted the OEM.

Additional features address the cooling system, turning radius and engines.
