Wireless communication provider Aeris.net said it has completed its North American network by adding service in Dallas, San Antonio and Oklahoma City. It said its MicroBurst data network is now available across all of North America, from northern Alberta, Canada through the southern regions of Mexico, wherever cellular coverage exists.

For mobile commercial customers, the addition of the three markets is designed to handle freight trade needs between the U.S. and Mexico. Texas leads the nation in exports to Mexico, with more than 80% of overland trade traveling through Dallas, Aeris said.

The company said initial MicroBurst applications include vehicle and asset tracking, security and alarm reporting, and equipment monitoring and control.
