Reading, PA-based Penske Truck Leasing has opened a new location in Lancaster, PA, that offers full service leasing, contract maintenance and commercial and consumer truck rental services.

The 17,800-sq.-ft. facility was built on nine acres of land and will employ approximately 45 associates from in and around the Lancaster area, the company said, effectively handle maintenance on over 1,000 vehicles. The facility replaces two smaller lease facilities that were located in nearby East Hemfield.

”Our new Lancaster facility gives us more working space and state-of-the-art equipment that will enable us to serve our customers more effectively,” said Jack Gallagher, a Penske vp. “Additionally, by consolidating two facilities into one, the company will benefit from reduced facility costs.”
