A new 90 mm, low-beam LED headlamp for commercial truck applications has been introduced by Dialight. The light meets the FMVSS 109 standard and is designed to meet the SAE J1455 specification for ruggedized applications.

The company said the headlamp is an LED reflector-based design that uses a reflective bowl to create a more uniform, consistent light beam that maximizes output and minimizes light loss.

The lamp uses less than 14 watts, reducing energy consumption and wear and tear on vehicle alternators. It comes with a 7-yr. warranty and can be retrofit on vehicles with halogen/HID lamps with no retooling.
