Metaldyne Corp., a $2.4-billion designer and supplier of engineered metal-formed vehicles components, has appointed Karen Radtke its new vp and CFO.

Radtke will be responsible for Metaldyne’s global cash management, pension asset and risk management, and coordination of the company’s capital market activities. She has over 20 years of experience in financial administration, previously serving as treasurer and corporate secretary of ASCET Inc., a Bingham Farms, MI-based manufacturer of automotive, truck and aftermarket components. Based in Plymouth, MI, Metaldyne makes assemblies and modules for transportation-related powertrain and chassis applications, including engine, transmission/transfer case, wheel-end and suspension, axle and driveline, and noise and vibration control products. It operates 79 facilities in 12 countries.
