June 3, 2013

David Crouse has been named president to lead the combined OPW Fueling Components and OPW Fluid Transfer groups. The combined operation will be one of the world’s largest groups focused on the distribution and transportation of critical fluids and fuels, the company said.

OPW Fluid Transfer Group president, Tim Warning, has been named president of a company within the Dover Engineered Systems segment.

“As a combined group, OPW will be uniquely positioned in the industry to provide fully integrated fluid handling solutions throughout the downstream energy value chain starting from refineries, chemical processing plants, terminals, transportation, to retail and commercial fueling stations. Together, the group will have nearly 1200 employees worldwide with manufacturing operations in North America, Europe, Brazil, China and India,” said Soma Somasundaram, executive vice president, Dover Energy.

“A combined OPW group enables us to deliver greater value to our customers worldwide,” said Crouse. “We will capitalize on our collective strengths to enhance product innovation and development and to leverage our global manufacturing and service teams to better serve our customers.  The scale of the group will enable us to take on larger growth initiatives.”

OPW Fueling Components provides commercial and retail fueling equipment. OPW Fluid Transfer group provides fluid transfer equipment. The combined group offers brands such as OPW, Civacon, Midland, and Petro Vend.

Company officials said that current distribution authorizations remain unchanged.
